About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Pharma Commercial domain to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of Sales Forecasting capabilities and related commercial insights. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between business stakeholders (including brand/commercial strategy, sales operations, and market access teams) and the delivery teams (data engineering, analytics, reporting). You will be responsible for translating complex forecasting needs into prioritized product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Sales Forecasting capabilities and commercial insights within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Translate business requirements from brand/commercial strategy, sales operations, and market access into actionable user stories and product backlog items.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, strategic alignment, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering, analytics, and reporting teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the Sales Forecasting solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Facilitate product demos, user acceptance testing (UAT), and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the product roadmap aligns with the overall company strategy and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in pharmaceutical commercial operations and data analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong domain expertise in Pharma Commercial operations, particularly in Sales Forecasting and related analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business, data, and engineering.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, reporting tools, and CRM systems is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: South San Francisco, CA
