Product Owner with Pharma Domain and EDI at TCS in Deerfield, IL – Onsite Contract 2026

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner with a strong background in the Pharma Domain and EDI to join our team for a long-term contract role in Deerfield, IL. This is an onsite position requiring expertise in data flows, pharmacy and claims data, and product backlog management.

Key Responsibilities

• Data & Domain Ownership: Own end-to-end data flows across source systems, data warehouse, and analytics layers. Identify data gaps, quality issues, and enrichment needs. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Pharmacy & Claims Expertise: Work with pharmacy and medical claims data. Apply knowledge of NCPDP D.0 and HIPAA X12 (837) standards. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and audit requirements.
• Product Ownership & Backlog Management: Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items. Own and prioritize the product backlog based on value and dependencies. Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams.
• Stakeholder Management & Delivery: Partner with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and senior leadership. Communicate product vision, progress, and trade-offs. Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, grooming, and execution.

Required Skills

• Core: Strong experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager. Experience in data-heavy environments and enterprise data platforms.
• Pharma Domain (Mandatory): Experience with pharmacy and medical claims processing. Knowledge of NCPDP D.0 and HIPAA X12 (837) standards.
• Data & Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehouse, and analytics systems. Ability to translate technical concepts into business requirements.

Additional Information

• This is a long-term contract role.
• The role is onsite in Deerfield, IL.
• The rate is $60/hr C2C without VMS charges.
• Only H1B visa holders with passport numbers are considered.
• The implementation partner is TCS.
• Interviews will be conducted via phone and Webex.
