Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Production – Operations Support Analyst with over 13 years of experience to join our team in Glen Allen, VA. This hybrid role focuses on maintaining the stability and efficiency of enterprise-level systems within a state government environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background in production operations, batch scheduling, and incident management, ensuring that critical business processes run without interruption.
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor enterprise systems to identify and resolve production incidents before they impact business operations.
- Oversee complex batch scheduling operations using tools like Control-M to ensure timely processing of data.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement permanent fixes.
- Manage file transfer operations and ensure secure, reliable data movement across the network.
- Develop and maintain detailed operational documentation, including runbooks and playbooks.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide high-level support for critical system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- 13+ years of professional experience in IT operations and production support.
- Extensive experience with enterprise monitoring tools and incident response protocols.
- Proficiency in batch scheduling software (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document complex technical procedures clearly.
- Prior experience working within a State Government or large public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Must be located near Glen Allen, VA, for hybrid work arrangements.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
