Role Overview:
Vyze Inc is seeking a sharp, proactive, and eager Production Support Analyst to join their team in Midtown NYC. This is a 6-month contract role with a hybrid work model, involving virtual interviews followed by an in-person component. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, basic Linux and scripting knowledge (Python preferred), and an understanding of FIX concepts or similar protocols (like XML). You will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting critical trading applications and FIX gateways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with FIX (4.2/4.4) onboarding, session setup, testing, and configuration.
- Monitor and support FIX gateway and trading applications in production environments.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and order routing issues efficiently.
- Support application releases and system enhancements.
- Document processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 years of experience (internships are considered).
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Eagerness to learn complex trading systems.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting (Python, Bash, or Java preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be sharp, proactive, and excited to grow within electronic trading technology.
Technical Skills:
- Scripting skills (Python preferred).
- Basic Linux administration skills.
- Understanding of FIX concepts or similar (like XML).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 per year (Estimated)
