Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in the Healthcare domain for an onsite position in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in program management, leading complex initiatives within the healthcare industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive program success from initiation to completion. The position is local to the Atlanta area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple healthcare-focused projects and programs simultaneously.
- Develop program strategies, roadmaps, and detailed project plans.
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Identify and manage program risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in program execution.
- Build and lead high-performing program teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
- Track program milestones and deliverables, providing regular status reports to executive leadership.
- Ensure all programs align with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the healthcare sector.
- Facilitate change management processes and ensure smooth adoption of program outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in program management.
- Demonstrated experience managing programs within the Healthcare domain (e.g., EMR/EHR implementation, clinical systems, healthcare IT infrastructure, patient care initiatives).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in program management software and tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
- Must be local to the Atlanta, GA area.
