Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee IT projects. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and execution skills to manage complex projects from initiation to closure. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business functional areas, executive and business teams, Portfolio/ITS Leadership, and technical teams to develop and manage project scope, project management plans (PMP), approach, resource requirements and allocation, schedule, deliverables, and funding.
- Provide guidance and direction to project teams on day-to-day project tasks.
- Develop formal project plans specifying goals, strategy, dependencies, scheduling, identifying risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
- Follow standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Identify, schedule, and manage project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities and drive accountability to project team members.
- Direct and coordinate complex business requirements deliveries, business process reengineering, and organizational change activities.
- Track project-related costs and expenditures.
- Facilitate large project governance and executive status meetings, project team status meetings, scrums, and recurring agile meetings.
- Aggregate status updates from project team members, track schedules, and manage risks and issues.
- Prepare executive project status reports and keep stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 84 months experience managing and leading large, complex IT projects as the Project Manager.
- 84 months experience developing and executing project management plans (Charter, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Communication, Change, Risk, Issue, Resource management plans).
- 84 months experience developing and managing formal project schedules using a project tracking tool (e.g., Microsoft Project), including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
- 84 months experience developing, writing, and managing detailed Scope Documents.
- 84 months experience with project quality management (planning, assurance, testing, control, UAT coordination, defect management).
- 24 months experience managing IT projects using standard tools (ITSM, MeasureIT, PMBOK, project management templates).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is required.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year
