Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a specialized background in Property Insurance systems and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to translate executive leadership goals into actionable project roadmaps, leveraging expert knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies to drive rapid, high-quality delivery. This role requires experience in managing complex projects across multiple time zones and international teams, with a strong focus on providing high-level transparency and data-driven insights to C-suite stakeholders. The primary objective is to ensure end-to-end project success and maintain consistent operational momentum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic project plans aligned with executive leadership objectives.
  • Lead and manage projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage global project teams across different time zones.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful end-to-end project delivery and operational continuity.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Proven experience in the insurance industry, specifically within Property Insurance systems and operations, within the last 3 years.
  • Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, global projects.
  • Strong experience in executive reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable project plans.
  • Experience in driving delivery excellence and maintaining operational momentum.

Location

This role can be based in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ. The position is expected to be onsite.

Employment Type

This is a contract position.


Special Requirements

Insurance background required in the last 3 years. Onsite work required.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Charlotte, NC
