Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background managing $20M+ IT projects, along with proven collaboration across multiple PMs. Michigan driver’s license and address verification required.
Summary
This role leads a multi-year IT modernization program, requiring strong change management, vendor management, and Microsoft DevOps experience.
The PM will work closely with DTMB, ORS EPMO, technical teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
The environment follows Agile Scrum, requiring a servant leadership approach and strong cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, quality, and risks
- Collaborate with Product Owners to align business and technical goals
- Provide clear, timely communication to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Manage vendor communication and deliverables throughout lifecycle
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and team alignment
- Present project updates to Steering Committee and leadership
- Maintain PMM (Project Management Methodology) deliverables
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues
- Ensure adherence to change management processes
- Develop Corrective Action Plans (CAP) when required
- Align project changes with business case and benefits realization
- Ensure compliance with IT governance standards
- Manage project interdependencies and impacts
- Oversee vendor contracts and deliverables compliance
- Facilitate stakeholder coordination and ensure deliverable completion
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years managing $20M+ projects
- 5+ years of Agile Scrum experience
- Recent experience as IT Project Manager (last 5 years)
- Experience in large, complex enterprise IT environments
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with multiple PMs on integrated systems
- Must be local to Lansing, MI (within 1 hour)
- Hybrid: Onsite Tue/Wed, Remote Mon/Thu/Fri (non-negotiable)
- Provide 3 professional references (US contact numbers)
- Michigan driver’s license verification required
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year Microsoft DevOps experience
- Prior State Government experience

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
