Role: Project Manager infraOps

We are looking for a Contract Project Manager specializing in infrastructure operations (infraOps). This role is based in New York, NY, and requires candidates who are local and possess a Driver’s License (DL). The primary focus will be to lead the delivery of infrastructure automation and internal platform initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with infrastructure and operations stakeholders to clarify needs, priorities, and success criteria.
  • Translate high-level requests into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint backlogs.
  • Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery across embedded engineering teams.
  • Balance feature requests with operational safety, reliability, and scope control.
  • Coordinate demos, stakeholder reviews, and roadmap alignment.
  • Track risks, dependencies, timelines, and delivery outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Project Manager on software initiatives.
  • Strong ability to work with Infrastructure, Platform, or Operations teams.
  • Experience managing Agile delivery (backlogs, sprints, standups, retrospectives).
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms.
  • Experience embedding AI in software products and elaborating business process use cases with an AI-first approach.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Google Cloud.
  • Experience managing embedded or Staff-augmentation Engineering teams.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
