Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a strong background in the insurance sector and expertise in automation testing, Jenkins, DevOps, and cloud fundamentals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading testing initiatives, ensuring quality assurance, and driving project success in a dynamic environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage testing projects within the insurance domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance the quality of deliverables.
  • Coordinate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of automation testing processes.
  • Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to streamline testing workflows.
  • Oversee the execution of automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within the insurance sector.
  • Mentor and guide team members in testing practices and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project goals.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including key processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
  • Understanding of cloud fundamentals and their application in testing environments.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of additional testing tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and security testing practices.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) or testing (e.g., ISTQB).

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Houston, TX
