Job Summary
Novia Infotech is urgently seeking a skilled Project/Product Manager with a strong background in Utilities Meter to Cash experience for a client role in Minneapolis, MN. This is a critical position requiring deep technical and functional expertise, particularly with Itron products and Customer Information Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Owners and Enterprise Architects, to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Analyze current systems and propose technical specifications based on high-level solution designs.
- Develop, test, and deploy user stories, ensuring they meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Own and manage the delivery of assigned user stories, including business analysis and testing.
- Define business processes and adhere to coding standards.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters, meeting development commitments.
- Interact with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to deliver features.
- Ensure smooth releases with appropriate test coverage and mitigate risks.
- Utilize JIRA for creating and updating user stories and navigating project workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Utilities Meter to Cash, with strong technical and functional expertise.
- 2+ years of experience working with Itron products, specifically IEE (UIQ preferred).
- Experience with Utilities Customer Information Systems is mandatory.
- Ability to translate user stories and acceptance criteria into technical specifications.
- Experience in business process definition and adherence to coding standards.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in using JIRA for project management.
