Position Summary
We are looking for a specialized PSOC (Proactive Security Operation Center) DevOps Engineer to manage and develop applications for Lenel Onguard and Genetec. This onsite role in Dallas, TX, requires a professional who can blend traditional DevOps practices with physical security application management. You will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of critical security infrastructure, ensuring that all physical security tools are optimized and secure. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a candidate who is local to the Dallas area and possesses deep technical expertise in security software ecosystems.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead application development and administration for Lenel Onguard and Genetec applications.
- Manage JIRA tickets for assigned applications, ensuring timely resolution of bugs and feature requests.
- Perform Windows and Linux Server and System Administration to support the security application environment.
- Configure and install Lenel Onguard and Genetec applications across various environments.
- Configure physical security tools as per specific organizational requirements.
- Develop and maintain Runbook documentation detailing application and server details, including Vendor Recommended vs. Actual configurations.
- Establish yourself as the primary point of contact for support regarding physical security applications.
- Manage physical security applications by ensuring appropriate maintenance, including patches, upgrades, and resource changes.
- Collaborate closely with the physical security team and application vendors to ensure solutions meet the operational needs of the client.
- Perform other duties related to physical security applications as requested by leadership.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with primary stakeholders to ensure project success.
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience with Lenel Onguard and Genetec Application suites.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux Server administration.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, specifically within a security context.
- Familiarity with JIRA for task and bug tracking.
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation and runbooks.
- Knowledge of physical security hardware and software integration.
Interview and Selection Process

- Final round Face-to-Face (F2F) interview in Dallas, TX.
- Candidates must be local to Dallas or willing to relocate immediately for onsite work.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
