Job Title: Python Developer (Banking Domain)
We are seeking a highly experienced Python Developer with a strong background in the banking and financial domain for a long-term contract position. The role requires a deep understanding of financial systems and robust development skills.
Required Technical Skills:
- Python Development: 10+ years of extensive experience in Python development.
- Data Processing: Proficiency with data processing frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
- Database Skills: Strong SQL and database management skills, with experience in PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar relational databases.
- APIs and Microservices: Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs and designing microservices architecture.
- Distributed Computing: Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks, with Spark being a preferred skill.
- DevOps & Agile: Experience with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
Banking / Financial Domain Experience:
Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following areas within the financial sector:
- Risk Management: Market Risk, Credit Risk, or Liquidity Risk.
- Treasury and Cash Management: Experience with treasury operations and cash flow management.
- Trading Systems: Development or support of trading platforms or market data processing systems.
- Payments Systems: Experience with Payments, Cards, or ATM systems.
- Regulatory Reporting: Familiarity with financial regulatory reporting requirements.
- Financial Modeling: Experience in financial modeling and analytics.
