Job Opportunity: Python Developer (RAG & LLM Specialist)
Tek Inspirations LLC is looking for a talented and passionate Python Developer to join our innovative team in the Tampa Bay Area. This role is centered on the development and implementation of cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. As a key member of our AI initiatives, you will design and maintain applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver transformative solutions for our clients. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days of onsite work per week in Tampa, Florida.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable Python applications using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, and Pandas.
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance LLM outputs.
- Design and manage data retrieval indices from various sources including databases and APIs.
- Implement advanced retrieval techniques to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content.
- Collaborate with data scientists and cloud architects to deploy RAG applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Analyze and solve complex problems related to data indexing, LLM integration, and system latency.
- Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of professional Python development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and asynchronous frameworks.
- Direct experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and RAG architectures.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms essential for efficient information retrieval.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with vector databases and indexing strategies.
Bonus and Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specialized LLM frameworks like LangChain or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Knowledge of search engine technologies and information retrieval theory.
- Contributions to open-source projects in the AI/ML or Python ecosystem.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or AI/ML.
- Professional certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Developer, etc.).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
