Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation and Manual Tester with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. This role involves both manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs, with a focus on writing efficient SQL queries for data validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile development methodologies and experience with Python for automation scripting.

Primary Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web application testing (Manual and Automation).
  • Strong experience in API and web services testing (Manual and Automation).
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation (Strong T-SQL experience).
  • Familiarity with Web and API application automation techniques.
  • Experience with Test Automation tools: Selenium, Python.
  • Scripting knowledge for automation (Web & API), preferably Python.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Playwright.
  • Experience with Mobility testing.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Basic understanding of Finance domain concepts and terminology.

Job Duties:

  • Participate in daily scrum stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support product owners in maintaining the product backlog and scheduling releases.
  • Understand requirements and data mapping.
  • Collaborate with Dev, BA, Data Analyst, and Data Architect teams for project requirements and technical design.
  • Construct test scenarios from business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
  • Ensure requirements are linked to test artifacts and coverage is adequate.
  • Evaluate test data against expected scenarios and identify deficiencies.
  • Prepare test data for positive and negative scenarios.
  • Perform Load testing and fix any issues encountered.
  • Conduct Regression testing and Functional testing.
  • Automate testing where possible.
  • Create defects for identified issues and participate in defect triage meetings.
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects.
  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings.
  • Estimate test tasks and provide input to the test delivery schedule.
  • Escalate issues to Project Manager and QA Manager clearly and timely, proposing solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality enablement efforts.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Oaks, PA
