Role Overview: Senior QA Automation Tester
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Tester with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This is an onsite position requiring a local presence and a valid driver’s license for potential local travel. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader in the quality assurance space, capable of designing robust automation frameworks from scratch and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automated test suites for complex API and web applications using Selenium BDD and TestNG.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines to facilitate automated testing within the software development lifecycle.
- Perform deep-dive API testing to validate data integrity, security, and performance across various microservices.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed bug reports and architectural recommendations to improve system reliability.
- Lead the transition from manual to automated testing processes where applicable, ensuring high efficiency and reduced time-to-market.
Technical Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on Automation.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD), and TestNG frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages for test script development.
- Extensive experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database validation techniques.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
