Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies.
- Report defects with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Maintain test documentation and test environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
