About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to support validation and release readiness efforts for internal and OEM device configurations. This role focuses on BSP testing, automation, debugging, and issue triage across Windows-based platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure CI/CD quality, validate OEM compliance requirements, and drive defect resolution in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. This is a highly technical, lab-based role requiring strong troubleshooting skills and experience with platform-level validation.
Responsibilities:
- Flash builds onto boards and OEM devices; Configure UEFI, OS images, and debugger settings.
- Enable crash dump collection and install SoC, GPU, and platform drivers.
- Develop and execute automation and manual test cases across functional, stress, power, and performance domains.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify corner cases across subsystems.
- Perform bug triage, reproduce issues, collect logs and dumps, and assist with debugging.
- Validate Windows BSP builds within CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate with BSP, OEM QA, and automation teams for build readiness and issue resolution.
- Support certification readiness tasks including USB4 and DP tunneling validation.
- Prepare detailed test execution reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Windows BSP testing and platform setup.
- Experience with UEFI flashing and KDNET debugging.
- Strong understanding of power states, hibernate cycles, and modern standby.
- Experience with automation tools and CI/CD validation processes.
- Proven ability to triage bugs and perform detailed log analysis.
- Prior OEM device validation experience preferred.
- Familiarity with USB4, DP tunneling, and certification validation tasks.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year
