About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to manage a team of 4 QA professionals and drive our quality assurance initiatives. This role requires a strong technical background in automation testing, Java programming, and experience with various testing tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Oversee the design and execution of automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Appium, and other relevant tools.
  • Conduct API testing using automation tools like Rest-Assured or HTTP Client.
  • Perform database testing with strong SQL experience.
  • Implement and manage BDD frameworks using Gherkin-Cucumber.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile and DevOps environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve complex testing challenges.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QA team.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on QA experience, with proven experience in leading a team.
  • Expertise in Java programming language (above Java 8).
  • Practical experience with automation testing and coding skills in Core Java.
  • Practical knowledge of at least one UI & Mobile automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
  • Proficient in API Testing with any automation tool (e.g., Rest-Assured, HTTP Client).
  • Strong SQL experience with various databases.
  • Practical experience with automation frameworks like Gherkin-Cucumber (BDD).
  • Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps practices, including integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration in a global team.
  • Self-motivated and a problem-solver.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.

This is a Hybrid role based in Alpharetta, GA.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year
