About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Lead Engineer with over 11 years of experience to join our team. This is a remote contract (C2C) opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, test leadership, and a proven ability to drive quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
- Oversee the execution of various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Define and track key quality metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and advocate for process improvements to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Manage test environments and test data.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest QA trends and technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 11+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and testing.
- Proven experience in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing test strategies and test plans.
- Proficiency in various testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with test automation frameworks is a plus.
- Experience in Access Management is highly desirable.
Domain Experience:
- Experience in Texas market is a plus.
