Job Description: QA Manual Tester

We are looking for a skilled QA Manual Tester with experience in manual testing and a foundational understanding of automation. This role involves end-to-end test planning, execution, and ensuring the quality of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test data, and test cases.
  • Perform manual testing across various software components to identify defects.
  • Conduct end-to-end test planning and execution.
  • Analyze system requirements, assess software applications, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data validation.
  • Utilize HP ALM and JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
  • Actively participate in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Ensure a firm understanding of testing concepts and Quality Assurance best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing.
  • Some automation experience is an asset.
  • 5 years of experience in process planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.
  • Proficiency in developing test plans, test data, and test cases.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis, assessment, programming, and troubleshooting of software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end test planning and execution.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
  • Experience using HP ALM and JIRA.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile software development.
  • Firm understanding of Testing concepts and Quality Assurance.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with data protection concepts.
  • Familiarity with Hewlett Packard (HP) tools.
