Job Summary
Vyze Inc is looking for a talented QA/SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join a high-impact team supporting manufacturing systems in Fremont, CA. This role is specifically focused on building robust automation frameworks and tools to validate next-generation systems in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate is a hybrid professional who possesses the coding skills of a developer and the analytical mindset of a tester. You will be working closely with development teams to create automation scripts in parallel with feature development, ensuring that quality is baked into the product from day one.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive automation initiatives across multiple applications, focusing on building reusable components and scalable frameworks.
- Develop and execute end-to-end automation strategies for complex manufacturing and FX systems.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support daily releases.
- Develop BDD (Behavior Driven Development) scenarios and maintain comprehensive regression suites using Playwright and Selenium.
- Verify data integrity and quality using automated SQL scripts and back-end validation techniques.
- Monitor regression results and report milestones, issues, and testing status to project stakeholders.
- Identify inconsistencies and flaws in complex systems with a keen attention to detail.
- Work independently against aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Technical Stack and Requirements
- Solid programming experience in at least one of the following: Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of RESTful web services and hands-on experience with API testing and automation.
- Proficiency in designing and creating automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with open-source tools such as Git, Stash, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of modern automation tools including Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools like J-Meter.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Jenkins pipeline orchestration.
- Strong SQL skills for back-end data validation.
Interview and Selection Process
Candidates must be prepared for a rigorous selection process. This includes a mandatory 1.5-hour onsite technical coding interview in Fremont, CA. The hiring team is specifically looking for candidates with strong Python, Playwright, and SQL skills. Experience with the Tesla team or similar high-scale manufacturing environments is highly valued. Candidates must be local to the Fremont area (within 50 miles) and possess a valid Driver’s License.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
