Position Summary
3K Technologies is looking for an experienced Qlik Cloud Developer for a long-term engagement in Tallahassee, Florida. This onsite role focuses on the development of sophisticated data visualization solutions and business intelligence reports. The successful candidate will work closely with program areas to transform complex data sets into actionable insights, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly Qlik Cloud dashboards and reports.
- Act as a strategic advisor to program areas, recommending specific visualizations and analyses to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineers to gather, clean, and transform data from diverse sources while maintaining high data integrity.
- Apply statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Interpret complex analytical results and present findings to stakeholders using various reporting techniques.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics for tracking progress.
- Optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes in collaboration with technical teams.
- Monitor data quality and propose solutions for data cleansing or enhancement.
- Stay current with industry trends in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, promoting excellence in Data & Analytics (D&A) practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in data visualization and analysis (Expert level proficiency).
- Proven expertise in gathering and cleaning data from multiple disparate sources.
- Strong familiarity with statistical techniques for trend and anomaly detection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Superior communication skills, including public speaking and technical documentation.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- 3-5 years of specific experience with Qlik Sense or Qlik Cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
- Proficiency with data tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar SQL-based platforms.
- 3+ years of experience working with environmental data, water quality metrics, or related scientific fields.
Work Environment
This is a long-term, onsite position located in Tallahassee, FL. Candidates must be prepared to work in a collaborative office environment and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Special Requirements
Onsite in Tallahassee, FL. Preference for environmental data domain experience.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
