Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior React Developer for a critical C2C engagement based in San Leandro, California. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in front-end engineering and a deep mastery of the React ecosystem. As a senior member of the development team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end architectures using React.js and modern state management libraries like Redux and Flux.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and back-end engineers, to translate complex design wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator to refine assets and ensure pixel-perfect implementation of design principles.
- Lead testing initiatives using frameworks such as Mocha and Jest to ensure code reliability and prevent regressions.
- Perform browser-based debugging and performance profiling to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Expert-level proficiency in React JS, HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and CSS3.
- Extensive knowledge of the React toolchain, including Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
- Proven experience with performance testing frameworks, specifically Mocha and Jest.
- Hands-on experience with browser-based debugging tools and performance monitoring software.
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Illustrator for asset management.
- Strong understanding of key design principles and responsive web design.

Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year
