Role Overview: Senior React Native Developer
Teamware Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our digital transformation team onsite in Plano, Texas. This role is designed for a mobile development expert who has a proven track record of building and deploying high-performance applications for both iOS and Android platforms. As a key member of our development squad, you will be responsible for the entire mobile application lifecycle, from initial design and architectural planning to deployment and post-launch optimization. This position requires a candidate who is local to the Plano area or willing to relocate, as the role is strictly onsite to facilitate close collaboration with our product and backend teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using the React Native framework.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, architect, and implement innovative mobile features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Integrate mobile front-ends with complex backend APIs and various third-party libraries and services.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Identify and resolve application bottlenecks, memory leaks, and performance issues.
- Stay current with the latest trends in the mobile development ecosystem, including new React Native releases and native platform updates.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for mobile apps.
Technical Competencies
- 6-8+ years of professional experience in software development with a heavy focus on mobile technologies.
- Expert-level proficiency in React Native and its core ecosystem (Redux, React Navigation, etc.).
- Strong understanding of native mobile development concepts for both iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end build tools (Metro, Webpack).
- Proven ability to integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Familiarity with mobile-specific security concerns and data encryption practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile, such as Jest or Detox.
