Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager for a 6-12 month contract role. This position offers a hybrid work model in Orange, CT, and involves working with an international client. The role is a C2C contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the release process for software and system updates.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient deployment of releases into production environments.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to align release schedules.
  • Develop and maintain release calendars, schedules, and communication plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the release process.
  • Manage multiple concurrent releases in complex environments.
  • Implement and enforce release governance and end-to-end lifecycle management.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders regarding release status.
  • Work effectively with global teams across different time zones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the release cycle.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in release management or IT project management.
  • Proven experience in large-scale global SAP programs, preferably S/4HANA.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP transports, environments, and the development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent releases in complex environments.
  • Strong release governance and end-to-end lifecycle management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with global teams across time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SolMan/ChaRM, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
