Role Overview:
San Jacinto College District is seeking a skilled Report Developer/Data Analyst to join their Information Technology Services department. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension, located onsite in Pasadena, Texas. The role involves developing reports and analyzing data to support college operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports using reporting tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and provide actionable information.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
- Support the Ellucian Banner ERP system, if applicable.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of related IT work experience.
- Strong reporting and data analyst experience.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Argos, Power BI, or Cognos is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
Preferred Experience:
- Ellucian Banner ERP experience is preferred.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution is preferred.
Location:
Pasadena, Texas (Onsite only).
Contract Duration:
6 Months (with possible extension).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year (Estimated)
