Overview of the RPA Developer Role
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking RPA Developer to join our dynamic automation team. This critical role is designed to significantly streamline enterprise operations through the implementation of intelligent automation solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust RPA workflows, collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams to transform automation concepts into tangible, operational realities. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the entire end-to-end automation lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and ongoing support, all within a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment.
Key Responsibilities and Contributions
- Collaborate extensively with both business and technical stakeholders to meticulously identify, analyze, and assess potential automation opportunities across various departments and processes.
- Design and develop cutting-edge RPA solutions, strictly adhering to industry best practices and established standard frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Build and configure unattended bots capable of executing complex tasks autonomously, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Seamlessly integrate RPA bots with RESTful APIs and various web services to facilitate data exchange and process orchestration across disparate systems.
- Leverage advanced UiPath AI Center capabilities (formerly AI Fabric), Document Understanding, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies to significantly enhance cognitive automation functionalities.
- Implement sophisticated automations utilizing UiPath’s REFramework and modern design principles specifically tailored for robust UI automation.
- Apply rigorous version control and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using platforms such as GitHub or similar tools to ensure code integrity and efficient deployment.
- Create and meticulously maintain reusable automation components, actively driving efficiency and consistency across all automation projects.
- Provide essential assistance with comprehensive documentation, including detailed technical design documents and user guides, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing support for all deployed automations in production environments, ensuring continuous operation and optimal performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven hands-on experience in RPA development within complex enterprise environments, demonstrating a strong track record of successful implementations.
- Exceptional proficiency in UiPath Studio and Orchestrator tools, including advanced features and functionalities.
- A strong and comprehensive understanding of Office 365 integration within automation workflows.
- Extensive experience with API-based integration and various web automation techniques.
- Familiarity with AI/ML components available in UiPath, such as AI Center, OCR, and Document Understanding.
- Solid understanding of the REFramework and modular design patterns, enabling the creation of scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment automation processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to dissect complex issues and devise effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset, essential for working with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (UiARD) is highly desirable.
- Experience with other RPA platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus.
- A strong eagerness to learn and rapidly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
This contract role, based in Sunnyvale, CA, requires a commitment of 3 days per week onsite and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced RPA Developer to make a significant impact within a leading organization. We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years of relevant experience who are ready to tackle challenging automation projects and contribute to a culture of innovation.
