Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Finance Consultant specializing in Funds Management (FM) and Project Systems (PS) for an onsite role with IBM in Baton Rouge, LA. The consultant will be responsible for leading fit-to-standard workshops, performing impact analysis, and translating business and funding requirements into functional designs. This role requires strong collaboration with Finance, Budget, Project Controls, and IT stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of FM and PS workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops for Funds Management and Project Systems.
- Perform impact analysis for business and funding requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs for S/4HANA FM and PS.
- Support testing (SIT/UAT), data validation, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Collaborate effectively with Finance, Budget, Project Controls, and IT stakeholders.
- Ensure integration across FM, PS, and FI modules in S/4HANA.
Required Skills:
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Funds Management (FM), including budget control, availability control, earmarked funds, and integration with FI.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS), including WBS structures, cost collection, budgeting, and settlement.
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance, including integration across FM, PS, and FI.
- Ability to lead fittostandard workshops, perform impact analysis, and translate business and funding requirements into functional designs.
- Experience supporting testing (SIT/UAT), data validation, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization for FM and PS workstreams.
- Strong collaboration skills with Finance, Budget, Project Controls, and IT stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Grant Management (GM) experience, including grants setup, lifecycle management, eligibility, and reporting.
- Experience with FMPSGM integrated design for funded and capital projects.
- Public Sector experience, with an understanding of budgetary control, compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.
- ECC to S/4HANA migration experience, including FM/PS impact assessment and functional redesign.
- Experience with Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and reporting for budget-to-actual and project tracking.
