About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Analyst to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale CRM projects, driving process innovation, and delivering exceptional customer-focused solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating closely with business teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective Salesforce configurations and customizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions with business partners to understand and define business requirements, asking probing questions to uncover underlying needs.
  • Facilitate business workshops and develop roadmaps for future state processes, working with global management teams.
  • Recommend process innovation and efficiencies through current state process analysis, user experience, industry trends, and leading-edge technology.
  • Design and implement solutions that bridge the gap between out-of-the-box Salesforce functionalities and business processes.
  • Develop business cases and budgets for changes and projects.
  • Set success criteria for initiatives and track progress against them.
  • Adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all projects.
  • Support key business processes promoting application, data integrity, governance, and compliance.
  • Manage the Salesforce application, defining, designing, and configuring enhancements.
  • Design and implement reports, dashboards, and alerts to support business processes and deliver insights.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users, including writing scripts and securing sign-offs.
  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure business readiness and adoption.
  • Actively participate in discussions with Salesforce regarding Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, and Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM.
  • Analyze business requirements to determine the most effective approach to serving organizational needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst and admin role leading enterprise-scale CRM, PRM projects.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Platform functionality and best practices, with emphasis in Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud & Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong experience in implementation; ability to determine whether requirements are configuration, customization, and/or integrations with external systems.
  • Hands-on experience on configuration of platform features including user management, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, org-wide defaults, sharing rules, territories, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validation rules, workflow rules, email templates, process builder, flows, lightning pages, managed packages, etc.
  • Experience with the Salesforce AppExchange and a deep understanding of its ecosystem as well as native Salesforce capabilities.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
  • Prior experience in SDLC project management and analysis including scoping/timeline management, documenting use cases, process flows/swim lane diagrams, requirements, UAT, change management, etc.
  • Working knowledge of process documentation & project management software.
  • Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets and using Salesforce data tools.
  • Superior ability to design and implement dashboards on Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM preferred and reports to deliver business insight.
  • Keen understanding of system security and controls.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Self-motivated individual, thriving in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working on projects with teams based outside the US.

Education and Certifications:

  • BS or equivalent degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline required. MBA degree preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (required).
  • Agile SCRUM Master certification (preferred).
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant Certification (required).
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification (preferred).
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (preferred).

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
