Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce Architect to join our client’s team in Chicago, IL. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales and Service Cloud, and expertise in APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and various integration patterns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for solution design, technical governance, and mentoring development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Strategy: Develops high-level and low-level design documents, including system landscape diagrams, data models, and integration patterns.
- Business Requirements Alignment: Translates complex business processes into scalable Salesforce solutions, recommending whether to use configuration (“clicks”) or code.
- System Integration & Security: Designs Salesforce applications and integrations with external enterprise systems (Informatica, TIBCO, API management) and defines robust security, sharing, and access models.
- Technical Governance & Mentorship: Ensures best practices for development, conducts code reviews, and mentors developers and administrators.
- Implementation Oversight: Oversees data migration strategies, environment management, and release management.
- Trusted Advisor: Acts as the final escalation point for technical issues and provides strategic guidance to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, with proficiency in APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform capabilities.
- Architectural Skills: Strong understanding of data modeling, data security, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP).
- Experience: Usually 10+ years in IT/CRM, with significant hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Solution Architect certifications are highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management abilities.
Common Deliverables:
- Technical Design Documents (TDD).
- Review Documents (HLD, LLD, Code Review).
- Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- System Landscape Architecture covering Salesforce and multiple application interfaces.
- Deployment Strategy and Plan.

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)
