Role Overview

The Salesforce Architect will be a pivotal figure in designing and maintaining complex Salesforce ecosystems for high-profile clients in the travel and logistics sectors. This long-term contract position based in Dallas, TX, requires a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SFDC applications, ensuring that the platform aligns with business goals and operational efficiency. The role demands a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to lead architectural discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a Salesforce Architect, you will be instrumental in supporting and implementing Salesforce solutions critical to our client’s business operations. This role demands a strong technical acumen in Salesforce platforms, deep expertise in integrations with diverse systems, and the ability to ensure seamless end-to-end issue resolution. Your contributions will drive operational efficiency and support the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering superior experiences in the travel, transport, logistics, and hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules to support membership sales and pipeline management.
  • Manage Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) for advanced marketing automation and lead nurturing strategies.
  • Oversee the integration of Salesforce with third-party systems like Dial Pad (Telephony) and Docusign for document tracking and electronic signatures.
  • Provide advanced technical support and guidance as the primary SME for SFDC applications, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Manage and resolve production issues, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets within CST business hours in Dallas.
  • Facilitate and drive cross-functional communication with different system owners to track, trace, and troubleshoot integration-related issues.
  • Implement security configurations and hardening measures within the Salesforce environment to protect sensitive data.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, process tracking, and ensuring ITIL compliance.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to identify and implement system improvements and architectural best practices.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 14 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a significant focus on Salesforce implementation and support.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Pardot platforms is mandatory.
  • Proven track record in large-scale, complex Salesforce environments, specifically in architecting scalable solutions.
  • Strong background in custom development (Apex, LWC), interface management, and system integrations.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and Agile methodologies for project delivery.
  • Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Architect are highly preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

The candidate must be comfortable working onsite in Dallas and providing on-call support as needed.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $67 per year
