Role Overview: Salesforce Architect
Config USA is seeking an elite Salesforce Architect to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role is designed for a visionary technical leader with deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture and a proven ability to integrate complex systems. As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for designing robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions that span multiple Salesforce clouds. A primary focus of this role is the seamless integration between Salesforce and SAP systems to support global commerce, customer relationship management, and operational workflows. You will act as the primary technical authority, ensuring that all architectural decisions align with long-term business goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and document comprehensive architectural blueprints for Salesforce implementations, ensuring scalability and security.
- Lead the technical integration strategy between Salesforce and SAP, utilizing middleware and API-led connectivity.
- Oversee the deployment and optimization of Salesforce Commerce Cloud to enhance digital sales capabilities.
- Provide architectural governance and technical leadership to development teams, ensuring code quality and platform integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Evaluate third-party applications and AppExchange solutions to determine their fit within the enterprise architecture.
- Conduct performance tuning and scalability assessments to ensure the platform can handle high-volume transactions.
Required Technical Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 8 years dedicated to Salesforce Architecture.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and specifically Commerce Cloud.
- Proven track record of successful SAP integrations within a Salesforce environment.
- Deep understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, security models, and large data volume management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior architects and developers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architect certifications.
- Experience in the BFSI, Healthcare, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $255,000 per year (Estimated)
