Role Overview: Salesforce Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Salesforce Architect to join our enterprise digital transformation team. This role is critical in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions that leverage the full power of the Salesforce platform. As a lead architect, you will be responsible for the technical roadmap and architectural integrity of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring that all developments align with long-term business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Design and architect end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform, focusing on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and specifically Commerce Cloud.
- Lead the integration strategy between Salesforce and SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow for commerce, customer, and operational workflows.
- Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints, sequence diagrams, and data models to guide development teams.
- Provide technical governance and oversight for complex customization, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced flow orchestration.
- Evaluate third-party AppExchange products and manage vendor relationships to enhance platform capabilities.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git).
- Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications that support enterprise-scale digital initiatives.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain platform health and security standards.
- Mentor junior developers and administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to provide proactive recommendations for platform optimization.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years dedicated to Salesforce Architecture.
- Proven track record of leading at least two enterprise-scale Salesforce-SAP integration projects.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B/B2C) and its integration with back-office ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft/Dell Boomi), and event-driven architectures.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect credentials are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing distributed teams.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $245,000 per year (Estimated)
