Role Overview: Salesforce CX Cloud Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Salesforce CX Cloud Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in Madison, WI. This is a critical ‘player-coach’ role designed for a technical leader who remains deeply involved in the codebase while steering the architectural direction of complex enterprise solutions. As we move into 2026, the integration of Customer Experience (CX) Cloud with Financial Services Cloud has become a cornerstone of digital transformation, and this position sits at the heart of that evolution. You will be responsible for designing robust, scalable architectures that enhance customer engagement and streamline financial operations.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and CX Cloud solutions within a complex, multi-org enterprise environment.
  • Act as a hands-on technical lead, spending a significant portion of your time developing high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC) and complex Apex logic.
  • Drive the integration strategy using middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Apigee to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Oversee code reviews, establish best practices for development, and mentor junior to mid-level engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
  • Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado to ensure rapid and reliable deployments.

Required Technical Expertise

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Salesforce development and architectural roles, with a proven track record of successful enterprise-scale deployments.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and the newer CX Cloud modules, including a thorough understanding of their data models and out-of-the-box capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in modern Salesforce development tools, specifically Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and the Salesforce DX CLI.
  • Mandatory experience with Telephony and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) products, including Genesys, Twilio, Amazon Connect, or Five9.
  • Strong background in enterprise integration patterns and API-led connectivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $185,000 – $235,000 per year
