Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Developer
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data integration and customer data platform solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) and have proven experience integrating with Azure Databricks. Additionally, hands-on Salesforce development capabilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data solutions utilizing Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360).
- Lead end-to-end integration efforts between Azure Databricks and Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Configure and manage Databricks connectors, including batch and zero-copy data ingestion processes.
- Create, deploy, and manage data streams for efficient ingestion into Data Cloud.
- Implement Zero-Copy Federation use cases for real-time data access and retrieval.
- Configure and optimize Identity Resolution processes to create unified customer profiles.
- Enable data activation by pushing processed data into Salesforce CRM systems.
- Set up Data Cloud environments, including Data Spaces, objects, roles, and permissions, ensuring proper access control.
- Map Data Lake Objects (DLOs) to the Customer 360 data model for consistent data representation.
- Develop and maintain robust Salesforce solutions using Apex (custom logic, triggers, integrations), Lightning Flow (process automation), Lightning Web Components (LWC) (modern UI development), and JavaScript (interactive components).
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and optimal performance of data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, data platform engineering, or CRM data architecture.
- At least one enterprise-level implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) in a production environment (hands-on delivery is required).
- Strong experience integrating Azure Databricks with Salesforce Data Cloud, including: Databricks connector setup, Data Streams implementation, and Zero-copy federation.
- Deep understanding of the Customer 360 data model and Data Lake Objects (DLOs).
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud configuration and setup, Identity Resolution, and activation processes.
- Strong development experience in Apex, Lightning Flow, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Community Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks architecture and data engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance and data modeling best practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Location & Schedule:
This role is based in Chicago, IL, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite per week. Remote work is also an option.
