Role Overview: Remote Salesforce Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic, remote-first engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions that drive business efficiency and enhance user experience. As we move into 2026, our focus is on leveraging the latest Salesforce innovations, including Data Cloud and AI-driven automation, to maintain our competitive edge. The ideal candidate is a technical expert who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Build and maintain complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Configure and customize Salesforce objects, workflows, process builders, and flows to meet evolving business requirements.
- Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural recommendations for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Perform rigorous unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and other developers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to proactively suggest platform improvements.
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Apex programming, including triggers, controllers, and asynchronous processing.
- Proficiency in developing modern user interfaces using Lightning Web Components and Aura Components.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, sharing rules, and data management strategies.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce CLI).
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and Einstein AI capabilities is highly desirable for 2026 initiatives.
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Salesforce development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering successful Salesforce projects in a remote or distributed team setting.

Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
