Position Summary
We are seeking a distinguished Salesforce Enterprise Architect for a high-impact, hybrid role based in Missouri. With a requirement of over 14 years of professional experience, this position is designed for a visionary leader who can own the end-to-end Salesforce ecosystem for a major enterprise. The role focuses heavily on the healthcare and payer domain, requiring a deep understanding of member lifecycles, provider engagement, and complex billing systems. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be the primary strategist for our Salesforce roadmap, ensuring that our technology stack not only meets current operational needs but is also positioned for future AI-driven transformations.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and govern the global Salesforce enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and technological scalability.
- Design and implement complex object models, automation frameworks, and secure Experience Cloud portals tailored for healthcare stakeholders.
- Lead the integration strategy between Salesforce and critical external platforms, including claims processing, enrollment engines, and advanced analytics suites.
- Act as the primary guardian of HIPAA compliance and PHI security within the Salesforce environment, establishing rigorous data governance practices.
- Drive the adoption of AI within the platform, specifically focusing on Salesforce Einstein, intelligent automation, and generative AI use cases to enhance member services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Oversee the implementation of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and sophisticated document generation solutions to streamline employer group proposals.
Technical Architecture Requirements
- Extensive experience (14+ years) in Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 5 years in a dedicated Enterprise Architect capacity.
- Mastery of the core Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, including sharing models, shield encryption, and identity management.
- Proven track record of designing complex integrations using APIs, middleware (such as MuleSoft), and event-driven architectures.
- Deep expertise in platform customization using modern programmatic and declarative tools.
- Experience navigating the complexities of healthcare payer operations, including member enrollment, provider networks, and claims adjudication.
Qualifications and Expectations
Candidates must be US Citizens (USC) or Green Card (GC) holders to be considered for this role. A strong background in the healthcare industry is non-negotiable, as the architect must understand the regulatory and operational nuances of the payer space. This is a hybrid position requiring local residency in Missouri or the ability to commute regularly. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical brilliance and executive-level communication skills, capable of presenting architectural visions to C-suite stakeholders while remaining grounded in the technical realities of the Salesforce platform. You will be expected to stay at the cutting edge of Salesforce releases, ensuring the organization maximizes its investment in the platform.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $190,000 – $265,000 per year (Estimated)
