Job ID: JOB_ID_1664
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer with experience testing enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform. This role is critical to ensuring end-to-end quality across custom Salesforce implementations including Lightning components, Apex code, Flows, integrations, and declarative configurations. You will partner closely with product, development, and release teams to implement automation-first test strategies that reduce risk and accelerate delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Strategy: Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for Salesforce applications including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Apex classes.
- Framework Development: Build reusable frameworks to test both UI and backend processes using tools like Selenium, Provar, Playwright, or custom frameworks with Java/Python.
- Test Execution: Create and maintain robust test cases for regression, smoke, and functional testing across multiple Salesforce orgs.
- Integration Validation: Validate end-to-end workflows including integrations with systems like DocuSign, MuleSoft, Kafka, Data Cloud, and external APIs.
- Collaboration: Work with Salesforce developers and admins to test both custom and declarative features, identifying quality risks early in the lifecycle.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Copado.
- Data Management: Support and improve test data management strategies across various sandboxes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. We require 3-6 years of total QA experience, with at least 2+ years specifically focused on test automation for the Salesforce platform. A strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, Apex, LWC, and Flows is essential. You should have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cucumber, Karate, or Selenium WebDriver, and proficiency in at least one programming language like Java, JavaScript, or Python. Experience testing Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs and writing SOQL queries for validation is required. Familiarity with Git and Jenkins is expected, while the ability to debug Apex code and LWC is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
Additional advantages include familiarity with Salesforce DX and scratch org workflows, a background in performance or load testing, and relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Associate or Platform Developer I/II.
Special Requirements
Hybrid role, requires experience with Salesforce Lightning and Apex.
