Role Summary
VBeyond Corporation is seeking a dynamic and highly technical Salesforce Tech Lead to join a high-impact project for our client, Coforge. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who excels at the intersection of business requirements and technical execution. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technical roadmap of Salesforce implementations while managing a dedicated offshore team. This position requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem combined with strong software engineering fundamentals in Java and Apex.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions across multiple platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and FSC.
- Provide heavy hands-on coding expertise, focusing on complex Apex development and Java-based integrations.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team, ensuring that requirements are translated into scalable technical solutions.
- Coordinate and mentor an offshore development team of 5 members, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee complex integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
- Drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within the Salesforce development lifecycle.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure system performance and security.
Technical Expertise
- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in software development with a significant focus on the Salesforce platform.
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex coding and a strong background in Java development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce clouds: Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern front-end frameworks.
Leadership & Communication
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical business users.
- Proven track record of leading and coordinating offshore teams to successful project completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business value.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in San Diego, CA.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or Salesforce System/Application Architect certifications are highly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
