Job Title: Salesforce Technical Lead
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team. This is a remote contract position with the requirement to travel to Boston, MA for meetings and reviews as needed. Please note that TCS will not reimburse travel expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura/Visualforce.
- Strong experience on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including data model and security (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing).
- Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, with a solid understanding of integration patterns (sync/async, platform events).
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD, release management, branching strategy, and deployments.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and governor limit optimization skills.
- Define solution architecture and technical roadmap for Salesforce programs.
- Drive design decisions for data, integration, security, and non-functional requirements.
- Review existing implementations to identify opportunities for improving performance, security, and reusability.
- Establish best practices, reference architectures, and guardrails for delivery teams.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders, supporting estimations and delivery planning.
- Ensure deployment quality through CI/CD processes (Copado) and adherence to best practices.
Required Skills:
- Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura/Visualforce.
- Sales Cloud and Service Cloud expertise.
- Data model and security configuration (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing).
- Integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
- DevOps/CI-CD, release management, branching strategy, deployments.
- Debugging, performance tuning, governor limit optimization.
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant certification.
- Knowledge of GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, or automation pipelines.
- Exposure to Salesforce DevOps, Monitoring, or Debugging tools.
- Digital: Salesforce CPQ & CLM.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience.
