About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong background in S/4 HANA, Fiori, and finance modules. This is a critical role for a dynamic individual who can independently develop technical solutions, adhere to SAP best practices, and contribute to business and finance-oriented projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP ABAP Development: Around 8 years of overall experience with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development.
  • S/4 HANA Expertise: Must have hands-on experience with S/4 HANA ABAP, including Fiori and finance modules.
  • Object-Oriented Skills: Strong Object-Oriented (OO) skills are required to build organized and reusable code.
  • Technical Solutions: Understand business requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Fiori and Finance Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fiori development and SAP Finance modules.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Quick Learning: Must quickly understand the current project design and documentation.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow official SAP coding rules and best practices.
  • Dynamic Solutions: Write code that is adaptable to different inputs, utilizing low-code/dynamic concepts where appropriate.
  • Business & Finance Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of how software solutions support business operations and the finance department.
  • Solution Design: Think ahead and consider the pros and cons of proposed solutions post-implementation.
  • Error Handling: Ensure code is stable and handles errors or bad data gracefully without crashing.
  • Documentation: Write clear and concise documentation so that other team members can easily understand the work.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the work is bug-free before delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Proven experience with S/4 HANA, Fiori, and SAP Finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Good communication skills.

Location:

  • San Jose, CA or Austin, TX
  • Day 1 onsite requirement.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
