Role Overview
Teamware Solutions is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant for a critical project based in Detroit, Michigan. This role is specifically targeted at local candidates who can provide on-site or hybrid support within the Detroit metropolitan area. As a Techno-Functional Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex technical development and functional business requirements, ensuring that SAP solutions are optimized for performance and business alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP ABAP programs, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEFW).
- Perform deep-dive functional analysis to translate business needs into technical specifications, particularly within the financial or insurance modules.
- Optimize SAP performance by conducting code reviews, debugging, and implementing best practices in ABAP development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP with third-party systems using OData services, ALE/IDOCs, and BAPIs.
- Provide expert-level support for the FSCD (Financial Services Collections and Disbursements) module, leveraging its specific functionalities to enhance financial operations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong understanding of the SAP HANA database environment.
- Proven expertise in the FSCD module is considered a significant advantage for this position.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, Web Dynpro, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Strong knowledge of functional areas such as FI/CO or SD to facilitate techno-functional communication.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
