About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Application Lead with extensive experience in the Retail Industry to join our client’s team. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and possess both functional and technical expertise, including debugging skills. You will be responsible for application maintenance, supporting urgent issues, and managing client relationships.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on experience in SAP Retail, with a preference for candidates who have worked with retail clients.
  • Manage Application Maintenance Support (AMS) and demonstrate the ability to resolve urgent issues promptly.
  • Effectively manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Possess hands-on knowledge of key Retail processes, including Promotions, store operations, and store sales.
  • Experience working with FIORI related processes for Retail/Store Operations.
  • Knowledge of SAP CAR and POS systems will be considered a significant advantage.
  • A strong understanding of interfaces, batch jobs, and S/4 Hana is mandatory for this role.
  • Demonstrate leadership capacity and the ability to guide a team.
  • Possess both functional and technical SAP skills, including debugging capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) (P5 – Master level).
  • Proven experience working within the Retail Industry.
  • Application Maintenance Support (AMS) experience.
  • Ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Retail processes (Promotions, store ops, store sales).
  • Experience with FIORI related processes for Retail/Store Ops.
  • Strong understanding of interfaces, batch jobs, and S/4 Hana.
  • Functional and technical SAP skills, including debugging.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP CAR and POS systems.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori.
  • Leadership experience.
