Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ARIBA Buying and Invoicing (B&I) Consultant for a critical onsite engagement in Bellevue, Washington. This role is designed for a professional who combines deep technical expertise in the SAP Ariba ecosystem with robust Project Management capabilities. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of procurement solutions, ensuring that the Buying and Invoicing modules are seamlessly integrated into the client’s broader ERP landscape. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire (C2H) position, offering a unique opportunity to transition into a long-term leadership role within a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical project management efforts for SAP Ariba B&I implementations, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Drive end-to-end ownership of project tasks, from initial requirement gathering and functional design to configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Manage fast-paced projects efficiently, utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies as required by the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for functional expertise in sourcing, contracting, buying, and invoicing processes.
- Proactively solve complex technical problems and system bottlenecks without requiring constant supervision or frequent escalation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Ariba tools interact correctly with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Provide strategic guidance on procurement best practices and how to leverage SAP Ariba to optimize spend management and supplier relationships.
Technical and Functional Requirements
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in SAP Ariba implementations, specifically focusing on the Buying and Invoicing modules.
- Proven track record in Technical Project Management, with the ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder expectations at an executive level.
- Deep functional knowledge of the ‘Source-to-Pay’ (S2P) and ‘Procure-to-Pay’ (P2P) cycles.
- Expertise in configuring Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, and Ariba Buying & Invoicing.
- Strong understanding of Ariba Network integration and Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) / SAP Integration Suite.
- Ability to align with the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone and support various time zones as project needs dictate.
- Prior involvement in at least two full-lifecycle SAP Ariba implementations in a lead or consultant capacity.

Compensation & Location
