Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator with expertise in cloud platforms and automation tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, cloud-native tools, and experience with SAP HANA databases in a cloud environment. This role requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-evolving cloud landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Utilize cloud-native tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) for infrastructure management.
  • Manage SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Perform hands-on administration of SAP HANA databases in a cloud environment.
  • Ensure cloud security, identity management, and compliance with frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP Basis issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Optimize cloud costs and implement scaling strategies for SAP systems.
  • Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
  • Participate in SAP migrations to the cloud and manage SAP RISE implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with cloud-hosted SAP environments.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native tools (Terraform, ARM).
  • Experience with SAP HANA databases in a cloud setting.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector and SAP BTP.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA)) or cloud-related certifications are preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
