Position Summary: SAP Basis Lead (Seattle Onsite)
We are seeking a visionary SAP Basis Lead to join our dynamic technical team in Seattle, WA. In the enterprise landscape of 2026, the SAP Basis layer remains the bedrock of organizational efficiency. Key Responsibilities and Leadership Duties
- Strategic Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a dedicated team of SAP Basis administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- System Architecture & Maintenance: Oversee the end-to-end installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of SAP systems, including S/4HANA and legacy environments.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct advanced performance tuning and system monitoring to ensure maximum uptime and responsiveness for global users.
- Upgrade & Migration Management: Plan and execute complex system upgrades, support package applications, and cloud migrations with a focus on zero-downtime strategies.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust security protocols, user administration policies, and disaster recovery plans to protect sensitive corporate data.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business leaders to align SAP infrastructure with broader organizational goals.
- Documentation & Standards: Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
Technical Qualifications and Skills
- SAP Basis Mastery: Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, including expertise in NetWeaver, ABAP/Java stacks, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Database Expertise: Proficient management of database systems, with a primary focus on SAP HANA, as well as Oracle or SQL Server environments.
- Cloud Integration: Hands-on experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Methodologies: Strong familiarity with ITIL processes, Agile project management, and DevOps principles as applied to SAP operations.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $124,800 – $135,200 per year
