Job Summary: SAP BTP Cloud Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Cloud Developer with extensive experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to design, develop, and maintain applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP HANA modeling, database development, and cloud-native application development. This role involves close collaboration with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and robust solutions on the SAP BTP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize database models using SAP HANA Cloud, including calculation views, CDS views, and stored procedures.
- Integrate existing HANA Side Car solutions with SAP HANA Cloud, restaging data as needed.
- Develop and maintain SAP HANA native applications and integrate them seamlessly with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Implement efficient data provisioning strategies using SLT, SDI, SDA, and other relevant replication technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis, performance tuning, and optimization of HANA views and procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate them with various SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services.
- Support the migration of on-premises SAP HANA solutions to SAP HANA Cloud.
- Participate actively in code reviews, rigorous testing, and thorough documentation of all technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly and provide timely and effective resolutions.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reusability of developed models and applications.
- Conduct data profiling, validation, and transformation logic as required for data integration and analysis.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with SAP HANA Cloud development, including proficiency in SQL Script, calculation views, and CDS views.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud-native development practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database design principles.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration is considered a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OData services, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential for this role.

- This is a contract position.

Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
