Job Title: SAP BTP Integration Architect – Project IVC
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Integration Architect to join our team for Project IVC. This is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The position is based in Parsippany, NJ, with remote work options available.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Configure and manage SAP BTP services including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh.
- Understand and apply SAP BTP architecture concepts, including global vs. regional accounts, subaccounts, entitlements, Cloud Foundry/Kyma runtimes, Destinations, Connectivity Service, and Cloud Connector.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) with non-SAP platforms.
- Design API-led architectures, event-driven and asynchronous integrations, as well as synchronous and batch integrations.
- Utilize knowledge of OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, canonical data models, and transformation strategies.
- Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, idempotency, and resilience patterns.
- Define and promote reusable integration patterns, templates, and accelerators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Required Skills:
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture concepts.
- Proven experience designing API-led architectures, event-driven, asynchronous, synchronous, and batch integrations.
- Proficiency in OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, canonical data models, and transformation strategies.
- Experience with error handling, retry mechanisms, idempotency, and resilience patterns.
- Experience defining reusable integration patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
