Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP RAP UI5 developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications using the SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model). You will be responsible for implementing RAP behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing. The position requires building end-to-end OData V4 services and integrating them with UI frameworks like Fiori Elements and UI5. You will also develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem. Integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services is a key aspect of this role. Performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with SAP clean core and cloud-ready coding practices are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP.
- Implement RAP behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing.
- Build end-to-end OData V4 services and integrate with Fiori Elements/UI5.
- Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks.
- Integrate SAP BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, CPI, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP clean core and cloud-ready coding practices.
- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and design specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SAP RAP (managed unmanaged scenarios) CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviors, Metadata Extensions, OData V4 services, and Fiori Elements consumption.
- Experience integrating BTP applications with S/4HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IAS/IPS.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, multi-tenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP.
- Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git.
- Essential Skills: SAP BTP, ABAP, RAP, UI5, FIORI, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Experience Required: 8-10 years.

Compensation & Location
